Camille Kostek Arrives at the 2023 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Runway Show: ‘The Energy Is the Best’

She’s come a long way from the 2018 Swim Search, where Camille Kostek tried her luck at an open casting call. Only one year later, she snagged the 2019 SI Swimsuit cover. The former Patriots cheerleader, who’s been dating former NFL start Rob Gronkowski since 2013, has now been featured in SI Swimsuit six times. The Miami Swim Week runway show is an event, she explained on the red carpet, that has had a powerful effect on her confidence and self-acceptance.

Rocking a turquoise PatBO lace dress, she excitedly remarked, “This has been such a huge step in me falling in love with who I am as a woman. I used to be a lot more insecure. Now I’m able to really own the woman and the body that I have.”
She also appeared pumped for a good time. “Backstage,” she explained, “the energy is electric. The whole SI Swimsuit team is right there on the side of the stage. Last year I literally started dancing because I got so excited. I couldn’t just walk the runway, I had to pop my booty. I mean it when I say the energy is the best.”
